Her father, Grandmaster Liang Shou-Yu, has trained in traditional Emei kungfu and Qigong since 1948, studying with renowned masters across varied styles. His extensive exploration of Taiji styles such as Yang, Chen, Sun, and Wu has led to numerous accolades in Wushu and Taiji competitions within Sichuan province. The Liang family continues to teach and promote these arts from their base in Vancouver, Canada.
